THE BURDEN OF LEADERSHIP

1. Nothing Happens without leadership: leadership set the pace in government, they starts businesses, make scientific discoveries, medical breakthrough, philosophical ideas that shapes human society.

2. Nothing Succeeds Without Leadership: leaders determines whether a project, task, or undertakings succeeds or fails.

3. Nothing is Altered or Transformed without Leadership: leadership initiate great changes, it also manage changes that occurs both in church organizations and society.

4. Nothing Develops Without Leadership: leadership takes initiative for new developments and setting new standards.

5. Nothing Advances Without Leadership: leadership is responsible for the progress of any society. They are often eager to improve a society’s quality of living through improved efficiency, greater convenience and introduction and new product and services.

6. Nothing Improves Without Leadership: leadership gives hope where others see problems.

7. Nothing Is Corrected Without Leadership: leadership fix problems, they resolve error in the society.

Leadership is not:
·         Not A Title e.g CEO, Director, MD, Pastor, Bishop, Prophet, HRH, JP

·         Not when you’re being Served…nor opportunity to be served

·         Not when you have great possession nor A Chance to amass Wealth

·         Not an Occasion for Fame and Popularity

·         Not Skill or Intelligence.



WHAT IS LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP is the PROCESS of DISCOVERING, DEVELOPING, DEPLOYING and FULFILLING one’s divine noble PURPOSE and VISION and the CAPACITY to INFLUENCE OTHERS through the same PROCESS.

 Leadership is a process

·         Leaders love the process followers love the product.

·         Producers love the process, consumers love the product.

·         No product without a process.

Learning the process helps you to be able to reproduce the product.



Leadership is about leading in your PURPOSE

·         Everyone is deliberately created for a purpose. No two person with the same purpose.

·         No one is better than you. That a man has more money or cars than you doesn’t mean they are better. They have just found what they are supposed to be doing and are doing it.

·         Purpose is yourself. It’s who you are.

·         Vision is seeing what the eyes can't see but the heart can feel

·         It is the ability to see what is but what could be.

·         So the first thing a leader must seek is not skill, training education but Vision

1. Capture it/Catch it  -Possession/Ownership

·         Vision has a place and location.

·         Vision cannot be caught in everyplace.

·         You must be well positioned to catch your vision.

·         Where you stand determines what you see.

·         What you see at the valley can’t be the same when you climb a mountain/Watch Tower.

·         The vision you caught is yours, Vision is personal. You can sleep on the same bed but you can’t have the same dream.
